1. Overview
PetFlow cares about pet families and the businesses that look after them. This Policy explains what data we collect, why, and the choices you have. We process data in line with UK GDPR and applicable laws.
2. Data We Collect
Account data (name, email, role), business data (name, address, services, team members), pet family data (pet and owner details, including health and veterinary information you choose to add), and usage data (how you interact with PetFlow). We only collect what we need to provide and improve the service.
3. How We Use It
To create and run your account, manage bookings and services, process payments where enabled, provide support, keep the service secure, and improve PetFlow. We do not sell your data.
4. Sharing
We share data only with: your team members as you authorise; our service providers (hosting, email, payments, analytics) under contract; and authorities where legally required. Businesses control which of their team can see pet family data.
5. Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest, strict access controls, and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and notify you of any serious breach as required by law.
6. Pet & Veterinary Data
Sensitive pet health and veterinary information is only processed to deliver the services you request. You confirm you have consent to record and share it, and you can withdraw that consent or request deletion at any time.
7. Data Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active and for a limited period afterwards for legal, accounting or backup purposes. You can request earlier deletion of your data.
8. Your Rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, and object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, use the in-app account tools or contact us. We will respond within one month.
9. International Transfers
Where data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses to protect it.
10. Cookies
PetFlow uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and optional analytics to improve the product. You can manage preferences in your browser.
